The Zion Template: The Holy of Holies - Where discipleship takes place...
Through our understanding of the “Zion” template from the Scriptures, that describes the way God builds His work on Earth, we see the centrality of the Holy of Holies. In the Old Testament only the High priest could enter into intimate encounter with the Lord in the Holy of Holies – the very centre of encounter with God himself.
Since Jesus’ work on the cross and His subsequent resurrection and ascension, we are now all permitted entry into His presence through faith in Him alone! Spiritual formation, becoming more like Jesus everyday, as we live every moment of every day in His presence in us, is the most profound way that we can give thanks to Him in the way we live.
We understand this then to be the true centre of our life as a church - that we know Him better each day.
