Missional- "our active duty or calling"...
Our second key vision statement is 'to make Jesus better known'. We do this by creating 'Holy Places' where our worship is meaningful and accessible, and where all are welcomed as part of the family. In order to provide a range of Holy Places we make use of a variety of spaces for worship.
St. Thomas' Church building is one of the key religious buildings in the Parish and has been providing space for worship for almost 125 years. It is a great privilege to build on this history of faithful service with our 9am and Living Room congregations gathering in St Thomas' Church building each Sunday.

To provide more opportunity to interact with the community St Thomas' Church has dispersed to other facilities around the Parish. At the moment you will find worship taking place at Wyvern Technology College which provides a more contemporary and expansive space for our Flight Deck, Quench, Focus and Emerge congregations each Sunday.

The Zion Template: Missional - The Holy Places...
Learning from the “Zion” template, the Lord has taught us that the next step from the Holy of Holies in His building programme on Earth is always the Holy Place. The Holy Place was the opportunity for everyone to see the “service” of the Priests at work. The Priests would prepare the implements and be serving in the Holy Place in preparation for the High Priest to enter into intimate worship with the Lord in the Holy of Holies.
In the New Testament, all believers are Priests and can therefore serve in the Holy Place for the benefit of others. Indeed, this enables us to fulfil the second part of the Church Vision, to know Jesus better and make Him better known.
