The Band of Brothers is for all men at St Thomas' church. The Band of Brothers is for all men, young and old, who want a safe environment to work out what life as a Christian man is like, both in the workplace and at home. Whatever your age, background or where you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome to join the Band of Brothers. In 2017 we have set aside key dates for us to create opportunities where men can gather, support and get to know each other and grow as a unit through specific events and activities. For the first six months of the year, on each second Thursday evening we will meet at 7.15pm for 7.30pm in the Extension as part of a series which we are calling:
Table Talk for Blokes: Real men, Real issues. Total Fitness Pt I - VI. Topics include
. Total Fitness: How do we look after our mind, body and soul?
. Character: What does it mean to be a man of character?
. Lone Wolf: Is life more than a solo journey?
. Risk and Adventure: What makes you feel alive?
. World Changers: Do you think your life can make a difference?
We also have social events dotted about as you will see from the diary.   Please also note the following key dates: 1. Normandy 24 is 28 April - more details soon and in the St Thomas' News. 2. Our Weekend away is 22 - 24 September in Totland on the Isle of Wight. Please save the date! We have paid the deposit for exclusive use of the YHA Totland site - brilliant venue, great views and lots of options -   We are excited for what God has for us individually and as a Band of Brothers in 2017.
