As the local church we count it a privilege to accompany parishioners at significant times in their lives. We are glad to baptise the babies of local Christians and also offer a service of thanksgiving and dedication as an alternative. We baptise people of all ages!
Couples with a connection with St. Thomas’ church, i.e. through living in the parish, are very welcome to get married in the church. In certain circumstances we are happy to marry those who still have a surviving spouse from a previous marriage.
Funerals are also held in the church for those who have died. It is not necessary for the deceased to have been a regular churchgoer for the family to access this ministry.
To help us improve our facilities and provide space for wedding breakfasts on site we are planning to extend our premises.
