Missional

Missional- "our active duty or calling"...

Another of our key vision statements is 'to make Jesus better known'. We do this by creating 'holy places' where our worship is accessible for all. Please follow the links to explore how St Thomas' Church is making Jesus better known by creating 'holy places' where all are welcomed as part of the family.

The Zion Template: Missional - The Holy Places...

Learning from the “Zion” template, the Lord has taught us that the next step from the Holy of Holies in His building programme on Earth is always the Holy Place. The Holy Place was the opportunity for everyone to see the “service” of the Priests at work. The Priests would prepare the implements and be serving in the Holy Place in preparation for the High Priest to enter into intimate worship with the Lord in the Holy of Holies.

In the New Testament, all believers are Priests and can therefore serve in the Holy Place for the benefit of others. Indeed, this enables us to fulfil the second part of the Church Vision, to know Jesus better and
make Him better known.
